There's not Really any Question

Mark Hoofnagle at denialism blog is doing his defense today. He provides an excellent summary of science grad school and what happens after. It's a mix of depressing and exciting, which is normal when thinking about grad school. I'm especially fond of his take on the job prospects for PhDs, which ends with the option to"go to work for industry, make money, and live with that strange mixture of corporate politics, freedom from grants and moral ennui."

If I may be allowed, I'd like to extend the best wishes of the St. Louis Skeptical Society to Mark. We hope his defense goes well, along with his presumably upcoming postdoc position.

Congratulations to Dr. Hoofnagle, who posted this comment on the linked blog post:
Done, graduated, be at the bar at around 6pm.
Cheers.
